Getting Started with Mento Stablecoins

To begin using Mento stablecoins, start by visiting mento.org.

Once on the site, simply click "Launch App" to access the platform (app.mento.org).

From here, the first step is to connect your wallet.

Mento supports a variety of wallets, including MetaMask, WalletConnect, Valora, Omni, and Trust Wallet. For this tutorial, let's proceed with MetaMask.

After selecting your wallet, click "Next" and then "Confirm" to finalize the connection. Once connected, your wallet’s balance will be displayed on the app, and you’re ready to start swapping.

Swapping Between Mento Stablecoins

Now, let’s dive into the core functionality—swapping stablecoins. In the app, navigate to the "Swap" section.

Here, you can easily swap between different stablecoins supported by the platform. For example, if you have CELO tokens and want to exchange them for cUSD, you can do so in just a few clicks.

To perform the swap, enter the amount of CELO you wish to exchange.

The platform will automatically calculate the equivalent amount of cUSD you’ll receive. Make sure to double-check the details to ensure accuracy before proceeding.

Once everything looks good, click "Swap."

And then confirm the transaction in your wallet.
